I Am a Camera

Set in 1930, I Am a Camera depicts the vibrant and decadent Berlin artistic scene as it comes under increasing threat from the growing popularity of the Nazis.

Winner of both Tony and Critics' Circle Awards, I Am a Camera is a “striking, intelligent and steadily arresting comedy”. Adapted from the memoirs of writer Christopher Isherwood, the play is the inspiration for the acclaimed musical Cabaret.
